VeDa Earn

Genuine local work.
Fairly matched.

VeDa Earn helps people and businesses find genuine local work — van and car jobs, moving help, cleaning, trades, errands and crew jobs — and helps workers see whether a job is really worth taking.

Registration open in the app — bookings and payments not yet. Sign up in the VeDa app and build your Worker Passport — skills, vehicles, hours and areas — and choose the services you want to do. Jobs cannot be posted, accepted or paid for yet: bookings and payments open only after the launch is approved, and trades also need a licence first. The VeDa app itself is not on the App Store yet — see Download for its release status.

What it is

Real jobs, nearby, from real people

Customers and businesses post the work; verified local workers pick it up. The kinds of work VeDa Earn is built for:

  • Van job
  • Car job
  • Moving help
  • Cleaning
  • Trades
  • Errands
  • Crew jobs

For people and businesses

Post the job once. Only workers verified for that kind of work, with the right vehicle and skills, can take it.

For workers

Work that fits around your round, your van and your hours — and the numbers to decide before you accept.

Crew jobs

Some jobs need more than one person (van job, moving help, cleaning, trades). The job lists its places and the crew fills them.

How it works

From posted job to payout

  1. 1

    Post

A person or a business describes the job — what, where, when, the vehicle or skills it needs, and a fixed price or “ask for quotes”.

  2. 2

    Match

NextJob offers it only to workers it suits: verified for that kind of work, the right vehicle and skills, in their areas and their available hours.

  3. 3

    Quote or accept

For a fixed price, a worker accepts it. For a quote job, workers send quotes and the customer confirms one.

  4. 4

    Pay securely

The customer pays through Stripe when the job is confirmed. Until launch, payments run in Stripe test mode only — no real money moves.

  5. 5

    Evidence

The worker records what was done — a note or a checklist. A job cannot be marked complete without it.

  6. 6

    Payout

Once the job is done and paid, the worker’s payout is settled from VeDa’s ledger to the penny. Ratings and disputes use VeDa One’s trust records.

Worker tools

Know before you go

The tools behind VeDa Earn, and where each one is. The Worker Passport is open for sign-up; the job tools switch on when bookings open.

ProfitGuard — is it worth it?

Works out what a job is really worth after travel, time and your own running costs: worth it, marginal or not worth it — with the reasons. Distances are estimates, and it says so.

NextJob

Ranks the open jobs for you, after checking your skills, vehicle, areas and hours. With “heading back to …”, only the empty detour counts as travel.

Fees

Transparent fees

VeDa takes a small commission on completed jobs, shown before you accept.

When VeDa Earn opens, the customer’s price, VeDa’s commission and the card fee are worked out together, to the penny, so what the worker is paid adds up exactly.

No commission rate has been approved yet, so none is published here — this page will show it once it is. Nothing is charged: bookings and payments are not open.

Sign-up for VeDa Earn is open in the app.
